Job Training:

  • The Ready to Work Training Program is a free program offered at CVCC. This program teaches you a variety of career skills. You graduate with a Career Readiness certificate that employers are seeking hiring directly out of this program! Learn more information by clicking here.

 

  • WIOA a Work-Based Learning Program - A program for out-of-school 18–24-year-olds to help learn basic workplace protocol and acquire professional employment references. This is a paid position by the Family Guidance Center of AL. Learn more by clicking here

Continuing your education is VITAL to getting ahead; no matter where you are, we are here to help you. Contact our Resident Services Department for assistance with any of your educational needs.

 

  • GED Prep Courses: Chattahoochee Valley Community College (CVCC) Adult Education hosts our courses offered at the Chuck Roberts Activity Center (Riverview Gymnasium) every Monday and Wednesday from 5:30 – 8:30 PM.   • TRACK Career Pathways- While you’re obtaining your GED, CVCC offers a FREE college course! So get your GED and start your nursing, applied technology (HVAC, Welding, etc), or EMS program. You can earn a certificate in these fields and begin your career within a year- continue on and get a degree a year later to obtain an even better job! This program makes college a step-by-step process and much more obtainable!
