Temporary Halt in Residential Evictions to Prevent the Further Spread of COVID-19
 

EFFECTIVE NOVEMBER 30, the Agency will be open daily Mon. - Thurs. from 8am - 6:30pm and will continue to operate by APPOINTMENT ONLY for the safety of all parties.

All visitors MUST wear a mask.

Due to the COVID-19 emergency the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has issued a series of waivers which allows PHAs to adopt for the Public Housing and Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) program operations.  The most up to date list of waivers allowed by HUD, which are optional for PHAs, was released on November 30, 2020 in HUD PIH Notice 2020-33The Phenix City Housing Authority has reviewed the waivers and opted to adopt the waivers.

ALL MAINTENANCE WORK ORDERS WILL BE ON AN EMERGENCY ONLY BASIS: This means if the issue is of danger to person or building, the maintenance person will come out.  Otherwise, ALL OTHER CALLS will be handled according to priority of date and time.

If you need to contact your property office or any department, please call 334-664-9991 and leave a message with the appropriate party.  All voice mail messages will be retrieved daily.  If you are dropping off materials or documentation, use the drop box at the office.  They will be picked up 2 times each week.  Your rent will continue to be collected.  If you require a receipt for a rent payment, it will be mailed to you as timely as possible.
